Through the Trees

About this work
The trees tell stories.
One of my earliest memories is lying in my parents bed looking out our big windows and seeing shapes and faces in the trees.
Set on a forested beach in Sitka, AK, this was my first piece. Carved in rubber, this print captures the dyanamic Alaskan landscape of forest, ocean, and mountains.
In my early days, before beginning my journey of 13, I released 6 unnumbered prints to friends and family. As such, this official series, numbered to 13, is printed on unique and highly sought after Echizen Kozo paper, handmade by Iwano Ichibei, a living national treasure in Japan.
In addition to 2 A/P (Artist Prints), no other prints will be made and the block will be destroyed.
