Why 13
Only 13 of every print.
In Judaism, 13 signifies Truth, Love, and Oneness. My work attempts to remind us that the world is magical and even the mundane is a miracle.
When 13 prints have been made, the block is destroyed. Because everything comes to an end. And my practice is in letting go.
About
Noam Levenson
Noam Levenson was raised in Alaska, lives in Jerusalem, and spends his time leading backpacking trips, teaching meditation, and printing.
His prints are inspired by the landscapes he grew up in, the cobbled streets of his home now, and the subtle dance of light, rain, and wind that has always fascinated him.
He is a kid at heart (aren't we all) who just wants to spend his time with friends, watching raindrops plop in puddles and the trees ecstatic wind dance.
